Trains to Waterparks
If you are looking for an ideal place for relaxation, fun and refreshment, check out the waterparks on the route of the Leo Express trains. We have selected seven waterparks on the way, which are worth visiting even in the winter. Five of them are in the Czech Republic, two in Slovakia.
The Kingdom of Water Fun
Aquapalace Praha is the largest waterpark in Central Europe, and it is definitely worth visiting. Located in Čestlice, just outside Prague, it is a perfect destination for a family outing. There are three major sections in Aquapalace Praha: the Palace of Adventure, the Relaxation Palace, and the Treasure Palace with an outdoor area.
There are numerous pools, whirlpools, slides, and other attractions. Just the pools and slides total 21. If you wanted to try out all the slides, you would go down more than one kilometre in total. The Relaxation Palace offers hydrotherapy pools with massage benches and water jets, which will relieve all your everyday stress. The venue offers nineteen different saunas with renowned sauna rituals.

If you go all the way to Poprad, make your stay even more enjoyable by visiting the AquaCity with pools using geothermal springs which are proven to have considerable health benefits – for the skin, cardiovascular system, metabolism, the nervous system or the muscles. So, while you swim in the pools (there are 14), go down the slides, and enjoy all 350 water attractions, you are doing something for your health at the same time. And if you want to do more, try some of the wellness procedures. The two-storey wellness centre is the biggest in Slovakia. There are saunas, inhalations rooms, sauna rituals, relaxation rooms, ice room, whirlpools and more.
Secret of a Snow Chamber
The modern waterpark located in the very heart of Pardubice offers a wide range of attractions for the whole family. There are two large swimming pools (one is 50 m long) and a triple slide where you can go down side by side with your friends or family. Children will enjoy the section with shallow pools and small slides. The wellness zone features a Finnish sauna, steam baths and massage services. It also includes a snow chamber with a permanent temperature of -10 oC. It is said to be very beneficial for your health.
With its modern design, Aquapark Olomouc has a wide selection of attractions for all ages. In the winter, you can bathe in the indoor pool with a number of fun features, or relax in the hydrotherapy pool or two whirlpools. If you visit the wellness section, you can relax in a sauna, have a massage, or get some tan in the solarium.
