Make a trip to the Zakarpattia Region
The Zakarpattia Region is the westernmost region of Ukraine and the easternmost region of the former First Republic. The population is predominantly made up of Ukrainians and Ruthenians, no less important minority is formed by the Hungarians, who form the population in the southwest near the border with Hungary.
The capital of the area is Uzhgorod with more than 115,000 inhabitants. The Zakarpattia Region is known for its tourist attraction, which has won many lovers of adventurous mountain tours. Our tip is a hike to Mount Hoverl, which rises to its 2061 m above sea level. Who will find the former Czechoslovakian border stone nearby?

The connection Košice - Rachiv is the fastest connection of the whole Zakarpattia Region with Prague, Košice and other cities.
Travel documents and duties
For citizens of the Czech Republic and Slovakia applies that it is not necessary to have a visa if they stay maximum 90 days in Ukraine.
