Orthodox Temple

The center of the city is a branched pedestrian zone with many shops, restaurants and bars, but Mukachevo is also known for its many cultural sights. Typical green towers belong to the Orthodox Church of the Virgin Mary, but you can also visit the Roman Catholic Church, the White House Town Hall in the manner of Mannerism or the Monastery of St. Nicholas.

Polanok

The Polanok Castle is perhaps the most beautiful castle in Transcarpathian Ukraine. It is proudly standing 70 meters above the surrounding landscape on a volcanic cone and is so visible from afar. From the walls, you will have a wonderful view of the panorama of Mukachevo and the surroundings. A legend is connected to the castle - if you touch a sculpture in the courtyard, your secret wish will be fulfilled.
