With its international team of talents, Leo Express is ideally positioned to win PSO contracts and expand open access rail services across Central Europe. We thank our customers for this success and promise to keep up the work.“
Leo Express is currently working on upgrading its commercial trains to faster and more reliable 5G internet. The company is also scheduling tests for a free-of-charge coffee corner on its regional trains in the Orlicko and Danube regions. The commitment to sustainable rail transportation, high safety standards, reliability and quality remains. The company is currently completing ETCS installations on its commercial services between Prague – Ostrava – Košice/Krakow, which will increase safety even further. In June, Leo Express extends its daily services on the route Prague–Ostrava by adding connections to Lviv and has also increased summer services between Prague and Kraków.
Leo Express has also presented its new visual identity for trains in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. The trains now have a more distinctive orange colour and topographical maps of the main destinations. The look of the Flirt units has been unified, and the new visual identity emphasizes the cooperation between Leo Express and Renfe. The chairman of the Board of Leo Express, Manel Villalante i Llaurado, adds: “The launch of operations in Danube Region represents a milestone for our company. Last year has been key for Leo Express, since it marks a turning point in the pathway to growth, as results and performance show. We are eager to face all the new challenges ahead."
