On the line Bratislava – Dunajská Streda – Komárno we are going to use modern low-floor Alstom LINT trains. The trains are equipped with air conditioning. Thanks to wheelchair access, the trains are suitable for the transport of passengers in orthopedic wheelchairs, and you can easily transport prams or bicycles with us.

Buying a ticket on the train from selected stations
From 15 January 2024, Leo Express Slovensko s.r.o. will apply penalties to the purchase of a ticket on the train in case of purchase of a ticket from Bratislava hl. St., Bratislava Nové Mesto, Dunajská Streda and Komárno), i.e. at stations where the ticket can be purchased at a Leo Express sales point.
The penalty is added to the fare in the following amounts:
- € 1.50 penalty on any fare, except for the 100% fare discount,
- a penalty of €3 on top of the 100 % fare discount.
In addition to the penalty, the passenger shall also pay the fare. For unreported travel, the penalty is €30,- and €50,-. Penalties are levied in accordance with the approved Transport Regulations and Tariff of the carrier Leo Express Slovensko s.r.o.
On which route and from when will you operate on the Bratislava-Komárno line?
We will be running from December 10, 2023 for the next 9 years.
Do regional tariffs apply to your connections?
Yes, it will be possible to use the IDS BK tariff on our connections. Other accepted tariffs are subject to negotiation.
Can I travel on Leo Express trains with a ZSSK ticket?
No, this is not possible.
How does free travel for certain groups (students, seniors) work?
They are entitled to a 100% discount upon presentation of a pass. This can be obtained at the ZSSK ticket office.
When is the latest I can buy a ticket?
Until the regular departure of the train.
Is it possible to buy tickets for other trains/carriers in the LE app?
Can I use my ŤZP card to buy a ticket?
Can I use my ISIC/EURO26 card to purchase a ticket?
No, we don't accept these cards.
Can I use my leo credits obtained from a ride in the Danube region also for the route Košice-Prague?
Can I pay by credit card on the train?
Do I have to have my ticket printed?
This is not necessary, you can show your ticket in your mobile phone.
How much is the extra charge for buying a ticket on the train?
Depending on the specific situation, the rules are defined in the transportation regulations.
Can I take my dog on the train?
Yes, an assistance dog or a small dog in the box travel for 0 €. Transportation of a large dog is charged according to the price list.
